DarkWave NeoGoth (Trust me. It's better than it sounds.)

The Soft Moon is a beautiful example of how Goth music can be Bauhaus & The Cure, rather than Marilyn Manson & Korn. Nothing against those guys, but really... Comparing Robert Smith with Korn's singer, Jonathan Davis, truly exemplifies the sheer variety within the Goth genre. Robert Smith wearing Tripp pants is a pretty funny thought.

Anyways... People get pretty turned off when they hear the term Goth. But here's a one-man-band I think could make some people reconsider the genre in one of it's modern day forms. The Soft Moon is like Echo and the Bunnymen, Bauhaus, and Joy Division made a futuristic baby that lurks in the dark plotting your downfall with music that entrances you. It holds you hypnotized. You're under its' spell. You deliver yourself to him. God be with you... Lord knows, the devil is.

And here's Korn featuring Robert Smith
